Digital Communications & Social Media Intern will assist in developing branded communications (text and graphics), analyzing performance metrics, and supporting internal and external initiatives that promote the Thales brand with our customers, employees, and partners.

Digital Communications & Social Media Intern will assist in developing branded communications (text and graphics), analyzing performance metrics, and supporting internal and external initiatives that promote the Thales brand with our customers, employees, and partners.
The intern will be responsible for the execution of activities that support the day-to-day management of our owned digital outlets. This includes:
- Development of social media content to support various events, news items, project milestones, etc.
- Publishing content on social media channels (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) via Hootsuite or the platform directly.
- Development of graphics for digital platforms in accordance with brand standards.
- Support the collection of metrics from various digital platforms (social media, Piwik Pro, Hootsuite, etc.) for reports.
- Contribute to Thales social editorial calendar that is aligned with the overall content marketing strategy, ensuring events are covered.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing from an appropriately accredited institution.
- Prior experience managing social media accounts for an organization or corporation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital communication trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous internship experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Photoshop strongly preferred.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a global, B2B organization or corporation.
