Experience:
- Experience: 2 years in logistics, order fulfillment, or supply chain management.
Experience Required:
- KPI experience
- Working with US customs
- Order fullfillment experience
Education and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
- Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Order Processing:
- Receive and review customer orders for accuracy.
- Enter orders into the system and generate shipping documentation.
- Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers.
- Logistics Management:
- Coordinate shipment schedules with vendors and freight carriers.
- Optimize routing to minimize shipping costs and time.
- Track shipments and address any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure system accuracy.
- Customer Communication:
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding order status and logistics.
- Resolve any issues related to shipping discrepancies or delays.
- Performance Analysis:
- Analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and shipping accuracy.
- Other requirements:
- Back up Purchasing, Shipping, & Receiving functions.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
