We currently have openings for Mechanical Assemblers on 1st and 2nd Shift in our Clarksburg, MD Campus. Mechanical Assemblers will report to the Manager of Manufacturing. First shift hours are 5:00 am - 2:30 pm. Second shift hours are 2:30 pm to 12:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Follow printed work instructions.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams and building assembly drawing along with MWI.
• Handle small precision tools, hardware, etc.
• Properly sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, and follow all manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
• Keep team lead informed of assembly issues.
• Maintain a neat appearance in their work area and follow FOD compliance.
• Shall be accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of all work performed.

• U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 – 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Computer Skills with proficiency in Word, Outlook, WorkForce and SAP S4/Hana.
• Applicant must have familiarity with electronic assemblies, and surface mount assemblies.
• Ability to interpret IPC-A-620 standards, where applicable.
• Excellent verbal and written communications – Fluent in English.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.

The hourly pay range for this role is $20.00 - $23.91 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 3%. Once training on 1st shift is successfully completed, the employee will transition to 2nd shift and become eligible for an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
