Job Summary

As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing assistance to guests in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant’s point-of-sale system, such as OpenTable.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by responding to guest inquiries and requests efficiently.
Qualifications
- 3 Previous experience in a restaurant
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating cash registers is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
