We are seeking skilled Sushi Chefs to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi & nigiri and other sushi dishes
- Develop and refine sushi menus that focus on quality ingredients
- Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to strict food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Manage ingredient inventory, order supplies, and maintain freshness of seafood and other perishables
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment following all health regulations
- Train junior team members on proper sushi techniques, knife skills, and food safety procedures
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a focus on sushi preparation
- Strong knife skills for precise fish, vegetables, and other ingredient preparation
- Proven ability in food presentation and fine dining service standards
- Excellent food handling skills with an emphasis on safety and hygiene practices
