Primary Job Function:
Provide full service to production/shipping departments, by using established processes/TPM objectives. Accomplish any and all work assignments as directed by management.

- Inspect and report upon equipment daily at start of each shift ensuring all safety precautions are being implemented
- Scale full Paige Trailers and bring to bullpen; scale empty Paige Trailers to bring to Scrap Room
- Adhere to the scrap process including removing and replacing scrap with roll off trailer; responding when contacted to swap; recording and weighing of scrap roll offs; transporting scrap roll off to the staging area
- Supply and deliver proper amounts of shipping/WIP racks
- Load and unload outside trucks, and verify incoming racks per BOL
- Transfer dies, finished parts, and empty racks/totes utilizing flatbed trailers
- Assist with loading and unloading outside dies and tooling, as needed
- Trailer switching
- Adhere to outside rack layout
- Verify that product matches paperwork for shipping/WIP racks
- Commitment/adherence to department cross training
- Maneuver the Taylor-100 “Big Red” 100,000-ton Hilo
- Operate switcher to maintain bullpen and move trailers as required
- Rack and die inventory management
- Maintain all safety and housekeeping standards including but not limited to TPM/5S objectives in warehouse, pole barns, fork trucks, outside grounds
- Raising/Lowering trailers
- Connecting/Removing air lines
- Chocking wheels
- Follow the damage trailer process (tagging trailers to describe details of damage)
- Clearing scrap pad
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have valid Driver’s License, and Fork Truck License or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required
- Willingness to adjust to shifts as necessary to support the company, including providing coverage for employee time off
- Commitment to adhere to the two-hour stay-over policy when needed
- Basic Computer skills
- Class CDL-A preferred, not required
- Knowledge of R/F Guns
- 3 years’ experience as a fork truck driver, switcher, tractor w/wet kit for gondola roll offs preferred
- New hire orientation
- ERP System Training
- Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day
- Hand and eye coordination
- Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
- Ability to use a phone and computer keyboard
- Ability to work outside Manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in inclement weather
