Job Description

Primary Job Function:

Service and support manufacturing goals and objectives. Implement Tool & Die Department processes and procedures to yield results that satisfy our customers (internal and external). Accomplish any and all work assignments as directed by management.

Pay Range:

• $30-$36 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Additional $1.00 premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  
  
  

Shift Hours:

• 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm
• 2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm
• 3rd Shift: 10pm-6:30am
  
  
  

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Coordinate with Department Management Staff status/activities associated with ECN’s, Project Launches and assigned die repair/modifications.
• Instill good communications between shifts and departments for Tool & Die activities.
• Assist and advise in new/off-load die tryout projects through buy-off.
• Attend meetings for Tool & Die Department activities (internal and interdepartmentally).
• Assist in preparing action plans for major die repair activities.
• Help with training of Tool & Die Skilled Trades Technician personnel.
• Respond with maintenance activities to die-related production concerns.
• Interface with Department Management for workplace improvement planning.
  
  
  

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma.
• Die Maintenance Skills- as outlined in the Skills Assessment for Die Finishers.
• Organizational and communications skills.
• Excellent work performance history.
• Ability to plan, activate and resolve new tooling construction, as well as production, new tooling try-out and trouble-shooting concerns.
