Hosts/Hostess are responsible for providing exceptional service and hospitality to every guest in the restaurant. Hosts/Hostess are service oriented, team players with a passion for providing our guest in gracious hospitality, ensuing absolute Guest satisfaction. Host/Hostess will have thorough knowledge in all aspects of Thai Foon’s menu, so that they can take TOGO orders.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Perform station opening/closing duties on each shift
• Greeting Guest in a friendly manner and escorting guests to tables. Monitor’s guests needs and workflow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly.
• Conveys the appropriate number of menus and silverwares.
• Shows guests they care, and ask them about their dining experience when they cash out. Effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager at appropriate time if needed.
• Accurately accountable for all receivables including cash, credit card and gift card transactions.
• Assist to cleans, sanitizes and set tables as needed
• Assist to take Togo orders
• Manage a line by working with managers to quote accurate wait time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management Staff.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent organization and detailed oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team oriented environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of principles for dealing directly with the public.
• Knowledge of Thai Foon’s Menu and POS system
• Ability to handle cash, give change and balance cash drawer ate end of shift.
• Physical demands of the job include but not limited to:
• Standing and walking during the entire shift
• Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, stirs, pours and carries supplies
