Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments while maintaining precise cash handling procedures
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their dining experience
- Assist with food preparation tasks including basic food handling, assembly, and ensuring food safety standards are met
- Support kitchen staff by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during busy service hours
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitation of counters, utensils, and food prep areas in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote special offers or new products effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Food industry experience including food handling, serving, and food safety management is desirable
- Strong math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining quality service
- Retail sales experience or grocery store background can be beneficial for understanding customer needs and upselling techniques
- Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and safe food handling practices
