POSITION OVERVIEW
The Hybrid Sales Consultant is responsible for developing new business and growing existing funeral home accounts through a combination of in-person visits, phone, email, video, and digital communication. This role provides broad exposure to territory management, account strategy, and customer development, creating a strong foundation for advancement into senior sales roles, expanded territories, or sales leadership opportunities.
OUTSIDE SALES RESPONSIBILITIES
· Effectively route and manage assigned territory, plan in-person sales calls, and consistently follow through
· Build, develop, and maintain strong long-term relationships with funeral home customers
· Prospect for and secure new funeral home accounts within the territory
· Conduct in-person sales presentations and product demonstrations
· Teach and support merchandising concepts for new and existing customers
· Identify growth opportunities and expand product placement within accounts
· Represent Thacker Caskets professionally and competitively in the field
INSIDE SALES RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage ongoing customer communication via phone, email, video conferencing, and digital platforms
· Support existing accounts with product information, pricing, promotions, and order coordination
· Follow up on leads, quotes, and inactive or underdeveloped accounts
· Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the territory
· Maintain accurate account and activity records using CRM and sales tools
· Increase customer touchpoints and responsiveness between in-person visits
· Support sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches
