ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST
POSITION SUMMARY: Are you a detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills and a passion for accuracy? In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding payments and collections in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and skilled at maintaining strong relationships while ensuring the integrity of financial records and processes.
Job Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts receivable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with expertise in Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; both verbal and written. Genuine passion and advocate of diversity and inclusion and integrates this mentality when making all business decisions (both internal & external). Preferred knowledge of SAP and Concur.
Additional Information
The hiring range for this position ranges from $50,000 - $60,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST

Job Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of collections across 3O accounts (Optical, Ophthalmology, and Optometry), ensuring timely and accurate payment receipt.
- Communicate with accounts regarding outstanding balances, issuing invoice reminders and providing customer statements as needed.
- Post and apply payments (ACH, credit card, and checks) accurately and on time in SAP.
- Research and resolve both authorized and unauthorized deductions to maintain account accuracy.
- Analyze open receivables, identify high-risk accounts, and prepare reporting with recommendations for resolution to the AR Manager.
- Process credit card payments and maintain accurate documentation of accounting records, reports, and files.
- Support monthly closings and assist with departmental reporting and reconciliations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
