The Role: Director of Account Management
TH Experiential is seeking a Director of Account Management to elevate how we guide, serve, and grow our client relationships and projects. This role will lead our Account Management function, which includes the day-to-day project management that gets and keeps projects moving, ensuring clients feel supported and expertly led through every stage of the lifecycle. Rooted in TH’s client-centric approach, the Director will champion a partnership experience defined by trust and forward momentum.
Working closely with executive and cross-functional leaders, the Director will shape the next generation of TH’s Account Management practice; setting high standards, strengthening end-to-end project management, and building a lean, high-performing Account Management team. Equal parts relationship steward, project lead, and team builder, this leader will deepen and drive account health and growth, playing a central role in scaling TH’s next chapter.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Leadership & Growth
- Lead aligned clients, projects, and proposals, leading scopes, timelines, and client engagement, in alignment with Production and Creative.
- Champion a client-first approach that builds trust, satisfaction, and long-term value.
- Identify growth opportunities and report on account health, risks, and expansion paths.
Account Management Leadership
- Lead the Account Management function and project lifecycle from award through closeout, ensuring a seamless, supported client experience.
- Build and mentor a lean, high-performing Account Management team with strong client and project leadership standards.
- Ensure consistency across timelines, budgets, delivery and clients as the team scales.
Proposal Development & Intake
- Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, and Production to develop strong, client-aligned proposals, translating client needs into scopes, budgets, and clear strategic direction.
- Identify opportunities to expand scope or services during intake.
Execution Excellence
- Partner with Production to optimize delivery processes, workflows, and SOPs.
- Help refine cross-functional roles/responsibilities to reduce overlap and increase clarity.
- Champion best-in-class processes for Account Management across clients, scopes, timelines, and project flow.
Strategic & Financial Stewardship
- Partner with leadership on growth, retention, and long-term client value strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales to set new client relationships up for success.
- Support growth and margin goals that align with agency financial objectives.
CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Target Qualifications
- 8–12 years in account management within experiential, creative, or integrated agencies, leading complex, multi-workstream programs.
- Proven ability to build and deepen senior client relationships through trust, clarity, and proactive communication.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with impeccable attention to detail across scopes, timelines, budgets, and documentation.
- Demonstrated success growing accounts — identifying opportunities, expanding scopes, and improving long-term client value.
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented leader with experience guiding and developing account managers and PM talent.
- Strong communicator able to lead strategic conversations, present proposals, and navigate sensitive client dynamics.
- Financially fluent, with experience managing budgets and protecting margins.
- Highly collaborative and effective working across Creative, Strategy, Production, and Leadership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, where building structure, navigating ambiguity, and context-switching are part of the work.
