We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation
- Assist with heavy lifting, rebar installation, and water damage restoration tasks
- Conduct demolition, remodeling, mold remediation, and water damage repair projects as needed
- Follow safety protocols for power tool use and construction site procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Support construction estimating efforts by providing accurate material measurements and assessments
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on carpentry, woodworking, or remodeling projects
- Preferred, but wil to train the right person
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and wood construction materials
- Experience with framing carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and tile laying preferred
- Knowledge of power tool safety standards and proper handling of woodworking machines
- Familiarity with the restoration industry or water damage remediation is a plus
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks consistently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent interpretation of technical drawings and construction plans
