The hourly pay range for this position is $21.25-$26.25, based on experience and qualifications. We also offer full medical benefits, 401k, and discounted tuition. Responsibilities: ● Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop off and pick up times daily. ● Ensure the safety of each child. ● Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum and software. ● Read, understand and implement all policies and procedures of The Gardner School and all State Licensing Agencies. ● Maintain professional and positive relationships with the parents and coworkers. ● Advise the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months. ● Follow the standards set forth for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who come in contact with children. Desired Skills and Experience: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or related degree and 9 months of previous experience working with children (preferred), or High School diploma with EEC Certification and 36 months of previous experience working with children. Must love working with children and have a loving and nurturing personality. Excellent communication skills, including personal face-to-face communications with parents, staff, and children. Strong organizational skills. Computer literacy required. Pediatric first aid and CPR certification The Gardner School is an academically focused preschool for ages 6 Weeks to 5 Years.
