Summary: Manage & collect timely payments from a group of assigned accounts. The position also requires a high-level of customer service & the ability to multi-task.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Accurate and efficient collection of outstanding receivables
- Ability to comfortably handle a high volume of phone calls, both incoming and outgoing
- Resolve customer disputes in a professional and timely manner. Provide superb customer service over phone and e-mail with a positive and helpful attitude
- Maintain and establish customer credit limits based on account history
- Manage and approve daily requests for service and supplies based on current customer status
- Manage the approval process of Dealer invoices based on account status
- Assist management with any issues/projects as needed
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Education: College degree preferred
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of industry experience and/or collection experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to communicate effectively with customers and with all levels of management
- Proficient with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Some professional experience, particularly in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs
- Professional presentation; is confident, enthusiastic and displays a high level of self-motivation
- Solid time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner; able to work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25 - $30 an hour
