Industrial Associate Plant Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Associate Plant Manager to join a healthcare laundry services operation specializing in medical linen and uniform rental for hospitals, clinics, and outpatient centers. This role is responsible for overseeing production operations, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality service and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of production supervisors and plant employees to ensure smooth operations
- Achieve production goals, maintain quality standards, and meet daily deadlines
- Handle scheduling, training, and coaching for staff
- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate solutions with other departments
- Maintain reports on daily production, performance, and operational issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and labor laws
- Manage employee relations, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews
- Maintain strong communication with customers and address service or quality concerns
- Develop and mentor supervisors and team members to support career growth
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience or 3 years as assistant plant manager
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Strong understanding of production workflow and operational processes
- Proven track record in meeting customer needs and maintaining service quality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with maintenance management systems
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance
Preferred Industries for Experience:
- Industrial production environments such as corrugated box manufacturing/packaging
- Regulated, process-driven environments such as pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging
- Any industry with large machinery, structured workflows, and supervisory or management responsibilities
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000–$82,000 Performance-based bonus

Work Schedule:
