Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Memphis Area (Onsite)
Compensation: $30–$35 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (45–50 hours/week)

About the Opportunity:
An established and growing construction and metal fabrication firm is seeking a Quality Control Inspector with a strong background in structural steel. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role best suited for candidates who enjoy detailed inspections, working closely with production teams, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect fabricated steel components to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards
- Interpret and review blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Conduct material and weld inspections using non-destructive testing methods
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain compliance records
- Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standards
Required Qualifications:
- Active Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- Solid understanding of structural steel fabrication and assembly
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding inspection
- Experience reading and interpreting technical blueprints and specifications
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the construction or structural steel industry
- Familiarity with AISC standards and industry best practices
