Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year Annual Bonus

Are you a hands-on building operations leader ready to step into a working manager role? Our client is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a Class A high-rise office building in Fort Wayne and lead a dedicated maintenance team. This position is onsite and will also support additional buildings over time as their portfolio grows.
What You’ll Do
As our client's Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of the property. Key responsibilities include:
Lead & Mentor the Team
- Supervise 3 full-time techs part-time technicians
- Provide daily guidance, support, and leadership
Oversee Day-to-Day Building Operations
- Manage a Class A high-rise with 15 tenants
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenant requests
️ Hands-On Facilities Work
- Perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks
- Ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety) are operating optimally
Vendor & Project Oversight
- Coordinate contractors, repair work, and capital projects
- Manage work orders through Yardi
Support Portfolio Growth
- Assist with operations as new buildings are added
What You’ll Bring
✔ 3 years of mechanical/facilities maintenance experience
✔ Prior leadership or supervisory experience
✔ Commercial or high-rise building experience
✔ Ability to manage contractors and coordinate repairs
✔ Hands-on approach with strong communication and tenant service skills
✔ Experience with Yardi or similar systems
Nice to Have
- HVAC certification or relevant HVAC experience
- Knowledge across plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Class A building experience
- Experience implementing or improving maintenance processes
