Loan Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Loan Operations team as a Loan Clerk. This role supports the day-to-day back-office servicing of loans, including escrow administration, tax and insurance disbursements, loan payment processing, and general back-office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily servicing of consumer and/or mortgage loans
• Process escrow payments for property taxes and insurance
• Monitor escrow accounts for accuracy and ensure compliance
• Perform loan payment entries, account reconciliations, and balancing
• Respond to internal inquiries and assist with loan documentation reviews
• Support post-closing functions and maintenance of loan records
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate loan servicing

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• 2-3 years of banking/loan administration experience
• Highly professional and comfortable in a client-facing banking role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of loan documentation or escrow processes is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
