This is a high-visibility role working closely with operations, resource teams, and company leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Lead monthly financial reporting and budget variance analysis across multiple business units
• Manage inventory accounting (logs, lumber, byproducts), reconciliations, and cost analysis
• Oversee multi-entity financials and grant compliance for large-scale federal/state/local funding
• Support operational decision-making with meaningful financial insights and project analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company procedures
• Supervise and mentor an Accounting Technician, fostering a high-performance finance culture
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Partner with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Strong background in operational and manufacturing accounting
• 5 years of experience (wood products or manufacturing industry preferred)
• Supervisory experience and team leadership skills
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally to our Lakeview, OR facility and corporate office
