Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex industrial projects from planning through installation and closeout. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification. The position is primarily on-site and office-based, with frequent travel to project locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of assigned projects, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Oversee budgets, costs, staffing, and project expenses
- Coordinate procurement activities, including ordering materials, tracking shipments, and managing site logistics
- Supervise internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution
- Plan, schedule, and prioritize job site activities to meet project milestones
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and stakeholders
- Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues when needed
- Manage project billing, invoicing, and payment milestones
- Document, track, and administer change orders, ensuring proper approvals and timely billing
- Ensure compliance with safety programs, insurance requirements, and jobsite regulations
- Oversee final inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout documentation
- Support permitting and approval processes as required
- Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented work approach
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of project management experience in industrial, material handling, automation, or related technical environments
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, logistics, and site coordination
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50–65%) based on project needs
