Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our Obstetrics department in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for a dynamic nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about supporting mothers, babies, and clinical teams through exceptional leadership and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead and mentor nursing staff within the Obstetrics department to ensure top-quality, compassionate patient care.

·        Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and clinical standards.

·        Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient satisfaction and operational excellence.

·        Manage staffing, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives.

·        Foster an environment of professional growth, accountability, and collaboration among team members.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field - Required

·        Current California RN License - Required

·        BLS Certification (AHA) required upon hire.

·        Fire and Life Safety Card required within 30 days of hire.

·        Coursework/Training in Management of Aggressive Behavior within 90 days of hire.

·        Preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field and 2 years of clinical experience in Obstetrics.
