Job Description
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing high-quality routine and non-routine maintenance on a variety of aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a structured, safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
· Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and inspections
· Inspect aircraft systems and components to identify wear, defects, or discrepancies
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
· Complete maintenance tasks in compliance with FAA regulations and approved data
· Accurately document all maintenance and repair work in aircraft records
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
· Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and inspectors
· Support shop workflow and assist with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
· Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (Required)
· Experience performing aircraft maintenance and repairs
· Strong working knowledge of aircraft systems and components
· Proven troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
· Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical data
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain professionalism under pressure
· High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or certifications are a plus)
