Job Description:
As a White Glove Delivery Helper Trainee, you will play a key role in delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes, ensuring each delivery is made with the highest level of care and professionalism. This is an entry-level position where you’ll receive training on how to handle, deliver, and install furniture and appliances while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the safe loading, unloading, and delivery of furniture and appliances.
- Handle items with care, ensuring they are not damaged during transport and delivery.
- Provide basic installation or setup of furniture and appliances (i.e., assembling furniture, hooking up appliances).
- Offer excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns during the delivery process.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and complete deliveries within the expected timeframe.
- Follow safety protocols when lifting heavy items and driving.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (furniture and appliances).
- A valid driver’s license (if required).
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
- Prior experience with deliveries, customer service, or moving furniture is a plus but not required.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
