Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in St Lucie Martin and or Indian river county The Sales Representative will engage with prospective and existing clients, understand their travel preferences, and propose customized vacation packages that align with their budgets and goals. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, conducting consultations by phone and in person, preparing and presenting travel proposals, and managing bookings from initial contact through post-trip follow-up. The role involves maintaining accurate records in the customer relationship management system, tracking sales activity, and meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets. The Sales Representative will collaborate closely with internal teams and travel partners to ensure a smooth customer experience and identify opportunities for referrals and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales, account management, or customer service, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or tourism industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
- Proficiency with basic office software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools to manage leads, opportunities, and bookings.
- Ability to understand client needs, suggest suitable destinations and packages, and handle pricing discussions with clarity and professionalism.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Willingness to learn about global destinations, travel products, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset focused on client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, hospitality, tourism, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the St Lucie Martin and or Indian river county area when needed, flexibly adjust hours to support client schedules or peak seasons.
