TFO is currently seeking Client Service & Operations Associates to help us deliver on our goal of helping families by Connecting Wealth and Purpose®.
Responsibilities
Client Services and Operations Associates are separate positions at TFO, with Operations having more oversight of the following duties and client support roles:
- Understanding the client’s goals and objectives as communicated by the client service teams
- Coordinating/facilitating wire requests, deposits, journals between accounts, and other cash movements requested by clients
- Assisting the client service teams in gathering information, analyzing data, creating summaries and, other tasks related to preparing deliverables for client meetings
- Work with client teams to facilitate opening new client accounts as custodians
- Process other account service requests initiated by advisors and/or clients
- Analysis related – fee reviews, summary reports, loan tracking
- General Administration – collecting data, running reports, uploading files to the client’s document vault
- Find ways to expand the role to further help our advisors serve clients efficiently and effectively
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to multi-task in supporting different advisors across financial planning, investment management, estate planning, , tax and family office services
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Outstanding analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Basic understanding of financial statements such as balance sheets and cash flow reports, as well as basic knowledge of tax and investment concepts like cost basis and how it is applied to tranfers, gift giving and tax management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel in a financial context
- Confidence to work closely with clients to answer questions and collect necessary information for delivery of various services
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong self-review skills
- Can adeptly handle quick turnaround tasks and varying priorities at the same time
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, an emphasis in finance, accounting or business is preferred
- Experience at a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or similar wealth management office
- Familiarity with financial software like eMoney, Tamarac Reporting, Trading and/or Portfolio Center
