JOB TITLE : HOUSEPERSON
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing support to the Room Attendant staff by bringing Linen & Supplies and emptying trash. In addition this position is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest room hallways, storage rooms, and vending areas in accordance with company standards for quantity, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and safety and security.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide support to Room Attendant staff by delivering linen & supplies
- Provide support to Room Attendant staff by emptying trash on their carts
- Maintain cleanliness of guest room hallways and vending areas
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in store rooms
- Answer and respond to calls for guest needs
- Follow company policies and procedures (i.e., OSHA, BBP)
- Apply all safety and security policies consistently
- Be able to work a flexible schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
- N/A
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- Prior cleaning experience preferred
MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to comprehend and speak the English language preferred
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow written directions
- Obtain any locally required certifications
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged periods of standing, carrying, and walking.
- Firm and simple grasping are required for all aspects of this position.
- Climbs stairs 20% of the time.
- Bending and/or stooping up to 60% of the time while performing essential tasks.
