Job Summary
The Workforce Operations Management Analyst serves as a technical subject matter expert for enterprise time and attendance platforms, including ADP eTime and ADP Workforce Manager. This role is responsible for system configuration, data integrity, integrations, audits, and advanced analysis supporting accurate and compliant payroll operations across multi-state and unionized environments. The Analyst partners with Payroll, HRIS, HR, IT, and third-party vendors to support system enhancements, mergers and acquisitions, and ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and SOX controls.
Essential Functions
- Provides technical support for ADP eTime and ADP Workforce Manager, applying established pay rules and accrual policies.
- Analyze timecard, schedule, accrual, and labor data to identify systemic issues and trends.
- Support validation of overtime, premium, and regular rate calculations following defined FLSA and union guidelines.
- Maintain and update system configurations (work rules, pay rules, accruals) according to approved standards and change requests.
- Execute configuration changes and support UAT activities for system updates and integrations under guidance.
- Conduct data analysis and recurring audits of time, pay, and accrual data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support monitoring of integrations between timekeeping, payroll systems, and third-party systems using secure file transfer methods (API/MFT/SFTP) and escalate interface issues as needed.
- Partner with Payroll, HRIS, HR, IT and vendors to resolve data flow and configuration issues.
- Support data quality monitoring and reconciliation activities and follow established controls to identify discrepancies.
- Manage and audit accrual programs in accordance with company policy, union agreements, and statutory requirements.
- Apply and maintain multi-state and Union FLSA, Paid Sick Leave, union work rules, and complex pay calculations; California compliance required.
- Support third-party vendors (ADP) on implementations, enhancements, integrations, and issue remediation.
- Execute mass data maintenance (labor transfers, schedules, employee attributes, accrual balances; validate loads, perform reconciliations, and maintain audit trails.
- Support mergers and acquisitions including discovery, configuration, data mapping, parallel testing, and post-GoLive stabilization.
- Monitor day-to-day operations ensuring seamless transmission of time & attendance data to payroll.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, control procedures, process maps, data flows, and audit support materials.
- Utilize FreshService for project and task related tracking.
- Support SOX and internal control audits by fulfilling audit requirements such as gathering evidence, documenting controls, retaining records, and addressing any identified issues.
- Provide training to internal team members and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of approved automation initiatives

- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups); familiarity with automation and analytics tools is strongly preferred (power query, macros)
- Leverage CoPilot, AI, automation, and analytics to improve timecard validation, exception handling, complex rate tables, audit monitoring, and reporting efficiency.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- High level of discretion with confidential data.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting enterprise Time & Attendance platforms (ADP eTime, ADP WFM, Kronos/UKG), including pay rules, schedules, accruals.
- Strong configuration, testing, audit, and integration experience.
- Transportation/logistics industry experience with driver tracking software (i.e. McLeod, Isaac, TruckMate) highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Copilot, and Smartsheet.
- Experience supporting large employee populations (12,000 ).
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
- Experience with a ticketing system for project tracking and issue resolution.
