TFG is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Brownsville, TX area.
As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will be a key player in supporting our service technicians by assisting with installations, maintenance, and repairs of commercial foodservice equipment. Additionally, you will help with part pickups and deliveries, ensuring the team has the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service. This is an entry-level position, and no prior experience is required. A background in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or general mechanical aptitude is a plus but not necessary. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and preventative maintenance on foodservice equipment.
- Install and deliver commercial foodservice equipment to customer locations.
- Identify and address potential issues to maintain equipment functionality.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining procedures and providing recommendations.
- Adhere to company protocols and maintain high service standards.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- A strong willingness to learn and grow within the field.
- Mechanical aptitude or background in electrical, plumbing, or refrigeration is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
