ABOUT THE POSITION
The role of Warehouse Associate is to receive, store, organize, and ship materials while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a clean, safe working environment. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the warehouse processes are running smoothly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, and process warehouse deliveries (unload, label, store)
- Organize and stage materials for projects and service work
- Inspect items upon delivery for damaged or missing goods
- Complete internal requests picking for installation according to schedule (repack/load, courier/deliver)
- Track and report non-staged inventory check-ins and check-outs
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies or undocumented inventory movement
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Assist with Fleet management, including vehicle maintenance coordination
- Support operations and other logistics tasks as needed
QUALIFICATION / SKILLS /KNOWLEDGE (helpful prerequisites)
- High school degree or equivalent
- Prior warehouse/materials handler experience, highly preferred
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office knowledge required
- Strong communication skills – well-spoken and willing to speak with both installers and managers
- Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds consecutively for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to work extended hours or alternative hours as needed for work volume fluctuation (large deliveries coming in earlier or later than expected)
- Current unrestricted driver’s license
- Ability to drive a company vehicle
- Ability to work in warm, non-air-conditioned conditions for extended period
- Fleet management experience a plus
