What are the responsibilities and job description for the Decor Crew position at TF Event Company?
About the Role:
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our Decor Crew for the Seattle Christmas Market. You’ll help install and decorate festive displays, creating a beautiful and welcoming environment for visitors, and help pack everything up at the end of the season.
Responsibilities:
- Unload, organize, and move event materials and decorations
- Install Christmas lights, trees, ornaments, garlands, and other festive elements according to the design plan
- Help assemble and position structures, signage, and props on site
- Follow directions from supervisors and designers to meet quality and safety standards
- Keep the work area clean and organized throughout setup and teardown
- Dismantle and pack decorations after the event
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail
- Previous experience in event setup, construction, or general labour is an asset but not required
Schedule:
- Project dates: mid-November, December, and early January (exact setup and strike dates TBC)
- Shifts and hours may vary depending on event needs
