T.F. Andrew is a family-owned flooring solutions company providing property managers, developers and business owners best in class flooring products and services for over 44 years. We sell, install and maintain hardwood, tile, carpet, laminate and vinyl in 28 states and are the 8th largest flooring service provider in the USA.
As a full service floor covering contractor, we specialize in large scale new construction projects throughout the country. We are currently seeking a dynamic, service minded Project Manager who's an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills to join our fast paced, growing and exciting team from our New Rochelle, NY facility working in and around the Metro NY region.
PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and/or closely monitor and manage administration and installation of projects in and around the Metro NY area
- Assure that estimates are accurate and complete
- Oversee and/or assemble pre-construction material for clients (including submittal packages, material lead-times, etc.)
- Commence installations with owner, manager, contractor and installation crew
- Prepare written estimates for project change orders
- Check on order and delivery status
- Negotiate and purchase products
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Experience with software applications for take offs and estimating preferred but not required
- Experience in the commercial flooring and/or general construction industry
- Ability to execute projects with little or no supervision
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. (Bilingual a plus!!)
- Ability to work well and thrive in a team environment & independently

- Flooring knowledge/Construction experience a major plus
