Plumber Journeyman

Position Description:

Teya Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Plumber Journeyman professional based in Anchorage, AK responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on various projects. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation of Plumbing Systems: install pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This includes water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines.
• Maintenance and Repair: perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing damaged fixtures.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose plumbing issues by inspecting systems and identifying problems. They use their technical skills to resolve issues effectively.
• Blueprint Interpretation: read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand the layout of plumbing systems, ensuring accurate installation and compliance with building codes.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with safety regulations is essential for accountability and quality assurance.

• Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and materials is essential for effective problem-solving and installation.

• Attention to Detail: Precision is crucial in plumbing work to ensure systems function correctly and comply with regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:

• Customer Interaction: Provides excellent customer service is crucial; must be able to communicate with clients to explain plumbing issues, recommend solutions, and provide cost estimates for repairs or installations.
