As a Customer Service Representative, you will contribute to the success of the company by establishing and maintaining good client relations for our Texwrap customers. In this position, you will work with customers through sales inquiries, quotes, and service. This position is key to ensuring a positive experience for our customers while also supporting various internal functions that contribute to the smooth operation of the office. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, this role will involve tasks such as answering the door, sorting mail, managing office supplies, coordinating employee events, and much more. - Handle inbound customer calls, and qualify, distribute, or directly handle customer requests
- Update quote template as project scope changes
- Enter quotations, proposals, and sales of equipment into ERP and CRM systems
- Use computer and business systems to retrieve and leverage customer and item information including contacts, locations, and accurate item cost/price/availability/lead time info
- Work with customers regarding sales inquiries, collecting details needed for ordering, factory acceptance testing and service
- Follow up as appropriate, internally and externally, providing excellent communication and service
- Maintain excellent records
- May handle customer problem resolution through coordinating the efforts of various functions (e.g.: customer service, sales, engineering, manufacturing, shipping, etc.)
- Respond promptly to customer telephone calls and emails regarding equipment and service needs
- Actively communicate and work cross-functionally with all department personnel within the company infrastructure
- Assist with the schedule of service, ensuring proper customer follow up takes place in a timely manner
- Answer the office door, greet visitors, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate team members.
- Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring inventory is stocked and organized.
- Actively participate as a member of the Employee Welfare Committee, contributing to initiatives that promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
- Assist with various administrative tasks and projects, including organizing employee events, coordinating lunch orders, and ordering of business cards.
Who we’re looking for?
- Two year degree or relevant certification preferred
- Experience in sales &/or customer service
- Experience with SalesForce, Syteline or other CRM/ERP systems beneficial
- Ability to understand customers’ needs & relate to production processes
- Strong written and verbal communication and human relations skills
- Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills
- Proficiency w/ MS Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in particular), & overall strong computer skills.
- Must be self-driven/motivated, and able to succeed with minimal supervision.
- Aptitude for working in a team environment & leveraging the strengths & capabilities of others.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with customers, and to be passionately persuasive about representing the company and its products and services.
- Good interpersonal skills are a must.
- Strong planning & organization skills. Must be well organized, prepared and detail oriented.
