Duties
- Develop accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using industry-standard CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Create detailed construction documentation, including schematics, system layouts, and construction details that adhere to building codes and project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to translate conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings.
- Conduct building code analysis to ensure design compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to develop comprehensive digital representations of projects for coordination and visualization purposes.
- Assist in system design for mechanical, electrical, or plumbing components as needed.
- Prepare graphic presentations and visualizations for client reviews and project approvals.
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper), ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of construction detail documentation and building code compliance across various project types.
- Skilled in 3D CAD modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools for accurate project visualization.
- Familiarity with schematic development, system design, and interior or mechanical design processes.
- Experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction practices and standards.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and translate them into clear plans for construction teams.
- Excellent graphic design skills for creating compelling visual presentations.
