Textron Systems' recent growth has established the need for a full-time entry-level engineering graphics technician with knowledge of using creating, drafting and modifying technical drawings using 3D modeling tools to assist the engineering team in the mechanical design of large-scale assemblies and components that will be used on our Operational Simulators and Maintenance Training Devices. The candidate should have an associate's degree in engineering graphics. The candidate should be comfortable taking directions and guidance from engineers and therefore must possess strong communication skills. The candidate will be working in a team environment and should possess cooperative and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable interacting with peers, engineers, Program Management, senior management, customer representatives and other stakeholders. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen.

The candidate should be comfortable with creating and generating 3-D wireframe, surfaced, and solid models using 3-D modeling tools such as Solid works, Inventor, or AutoCAD.The candidate should be comfortable thinking in 3-D and be familiar with creating 3-D assemblies and components that range in complexity, size, and scale.The candidate should be comfortable with reading and interpreting 2-D drawings and translating these drawings into 3-D models.The candidate should be familiar and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5. Education
AS or AAS in Engineering Graphics Experience
