Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all service activities to meet customer schedules and goals.
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly performance against established financial goals and metrics.
- Check and report on status of service and act to eliminate delays and parts shortages.
- Manage workforce headcount, schedules (time off request, attendance), payroll, and employee relations (discipline).
- Manage accurate inventory levels and part tracking.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities and employee training needs.
- Drive root cause corrective action problem solving initiatives to achieve improved safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Ensure adequate supply of tools, equipment, and materials for efficient location operations.
- Assist with recommendations regarding workplace layouts, service methods and efficiencies by auditing operations to improve service flow and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience required, OR in lieu of degree a HS Diploma/GED required and 8 or more years of automotive/maintenance experience required
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Must possess a valid driver license and comply with TSV pool, fleet, and DOT policies
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport issued ID badge
- Demonstrated knowledge of Diesel Engines, Electrical systems, Hydraulics, and Generators
