Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the ability to understand avionics. This includes terminology, basic setup, operation, and practical application of electrical and avionics aircraft systems.
- With guidance and supervision, perform analysis of routine electrical malfunctions according to standard shop practices using some equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and continuity lights.
- With assistance, perform minor repair such as replacing wires and connectors on standard electrical components.
- With assistance and supervision, remove and install electrical and electronic components as directed.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints.
- Responsible only for own work.
- Perform other related duties as required.
