Please note that during slower carpentry periods, team members in this role may be cross-utilized to support our painting crews. We're looking for candidates who are flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable contributing across trades as business needs require.

DUTIES

• Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, trim carpentry elements, and hardware to enhance functionality and aesthetics
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like concrete forming, masonry work, roofing repairs, flooring installation, tile laying, and metal fabrication
• Read work orders accurately to follow project specifications for remodeling or renovation jobs while ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Prepare surfaces for painting and finishing by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure smooth application and long-lasting results
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a crew with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to clean, quality finishes
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively across multiple job sites

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, drywall installation, caulking, siding installation, and fixture hanging
• Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, screwdrivers as well as power tools including drills, saws, sanders for various tasks
• Strong background in construction site experience with knowledge of safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques
• Familiarity with surface prep techniques including patching, skim coating, and filling prior to paint application
• Experience working on occupied homes with an emphasis on cleanliness and respect for the customer's space
• Ability to identify surface conditions and select appropriate materials or methods accordingly

Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
