We're looking for someone who:
- Can work our drive through/lobby hours during the week and every other Sat.
- Is able to stand on their feet for most of their shifts, as well as adhere to a professional business dress code to include closed-toe dress shoes.
- Has been with their employer(s) two or more years. Job loyalty is important to us.
- Is comfortable with sales and referring products and services that will benefit our members. You will be expected to meet monthly goals and have the opportunity to earn incentives for doing so.
- Has previous customer service and cash handling experience. Banking experience is a plus!
- Maintains a positive and energetic attitude and a passion for helping people.
- Places a high level of attention to detail and is committed to member confidentiality.
- Can work comfortably with Microsoft 365 products such as Teams, Word, and Excel
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Has patience, demonstrates empathy, and can manage emotions. We never know what the person in front of us might be going through. Every member interaction is a chance to provide WOW! service.
As a teller, you will:
- Give our members the WOW! service they deserve.
- Perform financial transactions with 100% accuracy. Duties include check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, cash advances, and much more.
- Follow all credit union security procedures and maintain member confidentiality.
- Work with high level attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Educate our members on Texell's products and services. It is our responsibility to inform our members on all the great things Texell has to offer! In doing so, you could earn monthly incentives.
- Perform additional functions according to credit needs during down time such as calling members and telling them about our current promotions, rates, and more!
