Texas Woman's University College of Nursing is comprised of three large campuses located in the cities of Denton, Dallas, and Houston. Our distinguished faculty are committed to excellence in teaching, practice, service and scholarship. The applicant will be part of the Houston J. and Florence A. Doswell College of Nursing - Dallas campus faculty. This non-tenure track position includes didactic and clinical teaching. Teaching will primarily be within the undergraduate program but may include teaching at the graduate and doctoral levels as appropriate. Specific areas of responsibility will vary according to the faculty member's experience and the teaching needs of the academic programs.
The applicant will have an earned practice doctorate in nursing (DNP), or hold NP licensure and certification in one or more specialties, and be eligible for RN licensure in the state of Texas. A terminal degree in nursing is strongly preferred.
