Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Sales/K-12 Specialist in the Corpus Christi area. Responsibilities include identifying and securing new business opportunities within the K-12 education sector, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting Texas Wilson’s office furniture and services. The Specialist will work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies and implement plans to drive growth. Additionally, duties include preparing and delivering presentations, conducting industry research, and staying informed about trends in the education and furniture industries. The role will include business development in city, county, public and healthcare sectors.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Education and Training, with knowledge of the K-12 sector and its specific needs.
- Strong background in Business Development with knowledge of the Corpus Christi market.
- Exceptional Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Skills in Research and data analysis to identify trends, competitive opportunities, and strategies for client engagement.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and business development strategies, particularly within the education market.
- Familiarity with K-12 furniture solutions and office furniture is preferred.
- Hubspot or other CRM experience.
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and self-motivation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field is preferred.
