Position Summary
The Director of Dual Credit and Strategic Enrollment Initiatives provides strategic leadership for the University’s dual credit program and manages partnerships with external stakeholders, including businesses, community organizations, and educational institutions. The Director ensures all dual credit activities and external partnerships comply with University goals, accreditation standards, and established MOUs with schools and other partners. The role is responsible for developing systems to track compliance and performance, documenting outcomes, and responding to evolving program needs. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Enrollment Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Dual Credit
- Provide leadership for the University’s Dual Credit program and coordinate with key units, including:
- High School Partners on developing and maintaining MOUs;
- Admissions on recruitment, application processing, and enrollment steps;
- Student Records on course development and student success reports;
- Student Accounts on program billing;
- Provost’s Office on reviewing and verifying instructor credentials.
- Provide orientation information to dual credit students and families.
- Collaborate with high school counselors to support student success, including outreach and reporting.
- Work with Deans to facilitate faculty training and ongoing support for dual credit instructors.
- Maintain and update MOUs with schools and districts; identify opportunities for program expansion, including new courses, locations, and delivery methods.
- Partner with the Coordinator of Enrollment Management to document and maintain MOU records and partner contacts.
- Evaluate program activities (e.g., course evaluations, classroom observations) and support continuous improvement.
Enrollment Partnerships
- Coordinate and oversee University partnership programs, ensuring processes, guidelines, and policies align with University and accreditation standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for external partners, providing leadership and administrative support for ongoing partnerships.
- Develop, maintain, and expand MOUs with external constituents and business partners in alignment with University goals.
- Work with the Coordinator of Enrollment Management to maintain accurate records of partnership MOUs and contacts.
Strategic Planning
- Support institutional mission and strategic initiatives by facilitating alignment across departments and contributing to strategic enrollment planning.
- Develop and implement strategies that advance the University’s strategic and enrollment management plans.
- Collaborate with Enrollment Management and Marketing leadership to design and implement recruitment and marketing strategies for dual credit and partnership programs, including assistance with web content, publications, and outreach activities.
- Represent the University at internal and external meetings as a thought leader in strategic planning.
- Conduct annual outcomes assessment of the dual credit program and partnership initiatives to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and achievement of program goals.
Education, Certifications and/or Licenses
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, an emphasis in education or a related field is preferred.
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
- At least three years of successful K-12 or higher education experience is required, with familiarity with both K-12 and higher education preferred, that includes:
- program development
- project management
- teaching or administrative responsibilities.
- Prior experience with dual credit is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Standard office practices and procedures, including filing.
- Understands legal requirements affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Knowledge of website development and management.
- Knowledge of rules, standards, regulations, and laws regarding employment and student records.
- Proficient use of standard office equipment.
- Proven interpersonal skills to provide support in a high-profile office with tact and diplomacy.
- Proficiency with an integrated administrative system and current software programs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to retrieve, validate and disseminate data from various databases.
- Ability to accurately work with, analyze and interpret large amounts of data with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain an organized work space and filing system.
- Ability to be discrete in handling confidential matters, while complying with privacy regulations.
- Ability to adhere to University and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and office atmosphere.
- Ability to provide and demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Ability to plan, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks.
- Knowledge in PeopleAdmin administration.

- Ability to assist and work with webpage content management.
- High proficiency LMS (Blackboard or Canvas).
- Knowledge working with Datatel and/or Colleague.
- Ability to work in and with EAB Navigate.
- Ability to complete all physical tasks as needed.
