INDIRECT LENDING CLOSER

Role Responsibilities

Responsible for satisfying members consumer loan needs in the following areas while meeting individual, department and organization goals:

Prepare the log in register of indirect loans received;

Review new loan documents received by dealerships to ensure all documents have been received, all loan values are within Credit Union guidelines and all stipulations have been met as required by underwriter;

Corresponds and communicates with dealerships and /or members via phone, fax or email regarding documents and/or information needed for pending loans and will follow up until all issues are resolved;

Provide timely and accurate funding on indirect loans through the appropriate portals. (CUDL, CRIF and Vanguard);

Opens new membership and/or inputs all indirect loans funded in to core system;

Prepares and assembles all indirect loan packets and promptly submits them to Document Management for imaging;

Receive phone calls from internal/external members with questions regarding their loan;

Complete all Credit Union training as assigned;

Process all new dealership signups as requested;

Presents a helpful and positive attitude, focusing on solutions and promoting a collaborative environment at all times;

Backup Direct Lending Closer, as needed;

Presents a helpful and positive attitude, focusing on solutions and promoting a collaborative environment at all times;

Practices and brings to life with the team our Yes And culture;

Comply with established regulations and law requirements;

Perform various other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Three to five (3-5) years customer/member service experience;
• Three to five (3-5) years in financial institution environment;
• Three to five (3-5)
  
  

years working in a lending environment, preferred;

• Three to five (3-5)
  
  

years working with loan origination software, preferred.

Skills, Education And/or Certifications Required

• High School Diploma/GED;
• Must be capable of handling and processing loan requests quickly and performing in a fast paced office environment;
• Confidentiality of member information is required;
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills;
• Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality;
• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to member satisfaction;
• Required to handle all member information in a confidential manner;
• Professional written and verbal communications skills.
