What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Texas Traditions Grill & Bar?
This role has consistently proven challenging for those living out of town, particularly from Victoria. We strongly prefer candidates who are local.
We're seeking a server with open availability for days, evenings, and most weekends. Begin with part-time hours, with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on demonstrated work ethic and performance. Your duties begin with opening shift prep, including cutting lemons and tomatoes, portioning condiments, and more. You'll collaborate with the team to fulfill catering orders and ensure the dining room is guest-ready. Responsibilities include taking and inputting orders via computer, organizing and serving them, monitoring refills, and clearing tables. You'll also handle end-of-shift tasks and cleaning. Servers earn $200-$600/week based on skills and hours. While experience is preferred and an understanding of the role's demands is a plus, it's not mandatory. You must be outgoing and enjoy interacting with strangers—this job isn’t for you if you don’t. During slow periods, we clean; on busy days, we may work later than usual. We always leave the restaurant prepped for the next crew, never cutting corners even after a hectic night. Hard work pays off with solid earnings. Applicants must be 18 , and TABC and food handler certifications are required within one week of hire (self-completed in about 2 hours).
