Texas Tissue Converting is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in our fast-paced tissue converting facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, promoting workplace safety, and developing high-performing teams.
The Production Manager will oversee production floor operations, supervise converting machine lines and operators, and work closely with maintenance, warehouse, quality, and leadership teams to ensure operational success.
- Lead daily production operations to meet output, quality, and efficiency goals
- Supervise, coach, and develop production supervisors and team members
- Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety throughout the facility
- Monitor KPIs including productivity, downtime, waste, and labor efficiency
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage production schedules, inventory planning, and changeovers
- Troubleshoot operational and machine-related issues
- Collaborate with maintenance to manage preventative maintenance and downtime
- Support quality initiatives including ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, and customer requirements
- Prepare reports and analyze production data using ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field preferred
- 10 years of manufacturing experience
- 5 years of management experience with proven leadership results
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SyteLine experience preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
