Regulatory Specialist

Incumbents in this position participate in activities relating to government and regulatory requirements and compliance. Coordinate the accumulation of regulatory compliance and technical information for submission to various local and state governmental regulatory agencies and interprets and clarifies federal, state or local laws or regulations. Establishes and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations.

• Learn the federal, state and institutional regulations, policies and guidelines pertaining to human subjects research and apply them appropriately.
• Assists with and facilitates educational activities
• Facilitate timely communication with the institutitional review boards, faculty, and residents

Bachelor's degree in a related field OR high school diploma and four years experience in a related field in lieu of bachelor's.
Related certification, licenses and registrations may be required in some areas.
