What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multimedia Specialist - Social/Digital Content position at Texas Tech Univ Health Sciences Ctr?
The Multimedia Specialist supports the School of Health Professions(SHP) by designs content for media platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging, and meaningful to news consumers. The position promotes a favorable and consistent image of the department and the university for internal and external audiences.
- Produce compelling social media content, photography, videography, and other multimedia assets.
- Develop audience-focused communications that enhance the school’s visibility, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and advance strategic enrollment, marketing, and communication objectives.
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging, audience-focused content across the school’s social media channels to support recruitment, marketing, and brand awareness.
- Monitor content performance and emerging trends to optimize engagement, expand audience reach, and strengthen the school’s digital presence.
- Provide, edit, and maintain high-quality promotional photos and videos that showcase the school’s academic programs, faculty, students, alums, and events.
- Collaborate closely with SHP leadership and subject matter experts to develop, review, and publish accurate, engaging, and audience-focused content.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices through ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
- Assist with TTUHSC School of Health Professions events.
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one year related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five years.
Salary : $15 - $25
