About the Position
Teachers of Tomorrow, the nation’s largest alternative certification provider, is seeking a Classroom Support Associate to help our efforts in assisting with Teacher of Tomorrow interns’ with all aspects of their in-class support. This includes assisting our field supervisors as they work with our interns and assist our mentor department in ensuring we are following all state requirements for field supervisors and mentors. You will develop meaningful customer service relationships supporting and guiding them as they assist Interns enrolled in our program.
What You Will Do:
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure each intern has an assigned qualified mentor.
- Assist mentors as needed with questions regarding mentor responsibilities, mentor questions and mentor payments.
- Master knowledge of mentor requirements.
- Correspond and follow up with district personnel regarding missing mentor information.
- Guide new Field Supervisors through the onboarding process
- Assist with annual training for all Field Supervisors
- Continuously forecast need for additional Field Supervisors
- Assign interns to Field Supervisors based on geography and capacity
- Monitor and approve Field Supervisors’ timecards
- Assist Field Supervisors as needed with questions regarding certification requirements, payment, technical issues, etc.
- Facilitate program partnership with district mentors
- Ensure that Field Supervisors and interns and mentors are following state regulations
- Master knowledge of certification requirements and effectively apply company policies and procedures
- Partner with other departments to maximize the effectiveness of Classroom Support functions
- Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow core values Perform other duties as needed.
What We are Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with academic excellence or commensurate experience in an educational or professional administrative capacity.
- 1-2 years providing excellent customer service, attention to detail, problem solving skills, critical thinker and written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
