Independent Surgical Assistants – Partnership Opportunity (keep your cases increase your revenue)
Overview
We are a Texas-based surgical assist company seeking to work with experienced independent, out-of-network surgical assistants (LSAs/CSFAs/RNFAs) who are currently active in the OR.
This is not a traditional employment role.
You maintain your existing surgeon relationships, schedule, and workflow. Our role is to support the billing and collections process on select commercial insurance cases, with the goal of improving reimbursement on those cases.
How It Works
- You continue working your existing cases as you do today
- No changes to your surgeon relationships or scheduling
- You keep your existing compensation from facilities and/or providers
- We handle billing and collections for select commercial insurance cases (no government payors/LOP)
- Additional compensation is structured around those cases
Structure
- Per-case compensation, or
- Percentage-based revenue share
Preferred Case Experience / Specialties
Experience and case flow in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Orthopedic Surgery (Spine, Total Joints)
- Neurosurgery / Spine
- Robotic-Assisted Surgery
- Colorectal Surgery
- Bariatric Surgery
- General Surgery
- Urology
- OB/GYN
- Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
- Podiatry
- ENT (Otolaryngology)
Ideal Candidate
- Licensed Surgical Assistant (LSA), Certified First Surgical Assistant (CSFA), or Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA)
- Currently working cases independently
- Credentialed and operating at one or more hospitals or ASCs in Texas
- Interested in improving reimbursement on existing cases and/or adding select additional cases
Not a Fit If
- You are seeking a full-time employed (W-2) position
- You are exclusively contracted with a surgical assist group
- The majority of your cases are LOP/Medicare/Medicaid/Workers' comp
